Prime Day 2026 lands at an interesting moment for Nintendo Switch owners, according to GamesRadar. The Switch 2 has now been on the market for more than a year, which the outlet says makes discounts on games and accessories more likely than they were last time around. Back then, the console was still brand new and didn't yet have the wide range of games and accessories available today.
With Prime Day officially starting tomorrow, early deals are already giving shoppers a hint of what's to come. However, GamesRadar reports that first-party Nintendo discounts are almost nonexistent so far, with games ranging from Star Fox to Splatoon Raiders still listed at full price on Amazon. One exception is The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, which is currently $10 off its $69.99 MSRP, though first-party savings remain thin overall.
For now, the early savings are mostly found on third-party games. Resident Evil Requiem and Persona 3 Reload are both back at their record-low prices of $49.99 and $29.99 respectively. GamesRadar says it will keep tracking console, game, and accessory deals as the Prime Day event goes on.
