Capcom has officially announced a crossover between Dragon’s Dogma 2 and the popular fantasy anime Delicious in Dungeon, bringing two of the series’ most recognizable characters and exclusive rewards into the action RPG.
The collaboration brings together two fantasy adventures with plenty in common. Both Dragon’s Dogma 2 and Delicious in Dungeon celebrate the quieter side of adventuring, from exploring dangerous dungeons to preparing meals after a long journey. Now, fans will get to experience that connection firsthand through a special in-game event.
The crossover introduces two Official Pawns based on Delicious in Dungeon characters Laios and Marcille. In Dragon’s Dogma 2, Pawns serve as AI-controlled companions who accompany players on their journeys, making the anime characters a natural fit for the RPG.
Alongside the character additions, players will automatically receive two free armor sets inspired by Laios and Marcille. These themed outfits give fans another way to celebrate the collaboration while exploring the game's fantasy world.
The Delicious in Dungeon collaboration is available for a limited time, with different starting dates depending on the platform.
- PlayStation, Xbox, and PC: November 4, 2026, to January 28, 2027.
- Nintendo Switch 2: November 12, 2026, to January 28, 2027.
Players do not need to own the Dark Arisen edition to participate. Despite the collaboration's official name, all the rewards will also be available in the standard version of Dragon's Dogma 2.
The crossover also arrives at a welcome time for fans waiting for more Delicious in Dungeon. Netflix's adaptation of Ryoko Kui's popular manga debuted in 2024, with its first season spanning 24 episodes.
The second season is currently scheduled to premiere in October 2027, leaving fans with quite a wait before the next chapter of the anime arrives. Fortunately, the collaboration offers an opportunity to revisit the fantasy world in a different way.
The connection between the two franchises goes beyond their shared love of dungeons and monsters. Dragon's Dogma 2 encourages players to prepare for lengthy journeys by camping, cooking meals, and gathering supplies. Meanwhile, Delicious in Dungeon follows a group of adventurers who turn the monsters they encounter into meals to keep themselves fed during their expedition.
Even the most unusual creatures can become surprisingly appealing dishes in the anime, thanks to Studio Trigger's colorful animation and creative approach to fantasy cooking.
Manga creator Ryoko Kui has also cited classic RPGs such as Wizardry and Legend of Grimrock as inspirations for Delicious in Dungeon. With both franchises sharing similar influences and an appreciation for the everyday experiences of fantasy adventurers, the crossover feels like a natural match.
