The first DLC character has officially arrived in Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls, and Arc System Works is celebrating the occasion with a free in-game reward. Players can claim a special costume for Magik, but the offer won't last forever. The giveaway ends on November 30, making it worth checking the game's notification center before the deadline.

The arrival of Phoenix Cyclops also marks the beginning of an exciting first year of additional content. Arc System Works has already outlined its Year 1 DLC plans, with one new character scheduled to arrive each season alongside a new map inspired by Klyntar, the homeworld of the Symbiotes.

Jane Foster's Mighty Thor is expected to join the roster in Winter, followed by Venom in Spring 2027. Jubilee will complete the first year of planned DLC with a Summer 2027 release.

To celebrate Phoenix Cyclops joining Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls, Arc System Works announced a special giveaway across its social media channels. As a thank-you to the community, players can download a free cosmetic outfit for Magik inspired by her time as a member of the Phoenix Five.

The new Phoenix Magik costume features a striking red-and-black design with gold accents. Its appearance complements Phoenix Cyclops' in-game outfit, while also drawing inspiration from the character's original comic book look.

The costume offers more than a simple color adjustment. Players receive eight additional color variations, allowing them to personalize Magik's appearance and coordinate their team in different ways.

The Phoenix Five outfit is available for a limited time, with the claiming period ending on November 30, 2026. Players who want to add it to their collection must visit the game's in-game notification center before the deadline.

The notification center can be accessed through either the main menu or the Quick Menu. From there, players should find the option to download the free costume.

There may also be another bonus waiting for some players. PlayStation Plus subscribers playing on PS5 can claim the Old School Color Pack if they haven't downloaded it already. This additional pack features retro-inspired, PS1-style color variations for all 20 base characters.

The Phoenix Five costume isn't the first freebie Arc System Works has offered to the community. PlayStation Plus subscribers have previously received additional downloadable content, including five character avatars and a special results screen featuring 20 characters.

Players can also use the new Phoenix Magik avatar in the game's Arcadia Rumble and Open Lobby modes, giving the cosmetic some additional value beyond standard character customization.

Another special collaboration brought Wolverine's Battle Reborn suit into Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls to celebrate Insomniac Games' upcoming Marvel's Wolverine.

With new characters, costumes, and collaborations continuing to expand the game, Arc System Works is giving players plenty of reasons to return to the fighting arena. For now, however, Magik fans should make sure to claim the Phoenix Five outfit before November 30.
