Epic Games has announced significant changes to its Fortnite Crew subscription, giving longtime members more V-Bucks while removing some of the benefits currently included in the membership.

Fortnite Crew is the game's monthly subscription service, costing $11.99 per month. It is also available through Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. Until now, subscribers have received a monthly Crew Pack featuring exclusive outfits, 800 V-Bucks, and access to several in-game passes.

However, that lineup is about to change. Starting December 5, 2026, Epic Games will introduce a new reward structure that places greater emphasis on how long players have maintained their subscriptions.

One of the biggest changes is the removal of monthly Crew Packs. December's Crew Pack will be the final one, meaning subscribers will no longer receive exclusive outfits as part of their monthly membership.

Players who already own Crew Pack outfits but haven't unlocked all their associated Legacy Styles will still receive the remaining styles.

The OG Pass is also being discontinued on December 5. Epic Games has promised a dramatic conclusion to Chapter 1: OG Season X, while teasing that the next era of Fortnite OG will arrive in late 2027.

To compensate for the removal of Crew Packs and the OG Pass, Epic Games is increasing the monthly V-Bucks allowance. Instead of the current 800 V-Bucks, subscribers will receive rewards based on their membership history.

The new monthly rewards will be distributed as follows:

• 1–2 months: 1,000 V-Bucks per month.
• 3–5 months: 1,200 V-Bucks per month.
• 6–11 months: 1,400 V-Bucks per month.
• 12 months or longer: 1,600 V-Bucks per month.

Importantly, existing subscription history will count toward these rewards. Members won't have to start building their subscription streak from scratch when the changes arrive.

For example, players who have been subscribed for more than 12 months will immediately qualify for the highest tier, earning 1,600 V-Bucks every month.

Although some familiar rewards are disappearing, Fortnite Crew isn't losing all its existing benefits.

Subscribers will continue receiving access to the Fortnite Battle Pass, Music Pass, LEGO Pass, and Rocket Pass Premium for Rocket League.

Epic Games is also introducing an additional 20% XP bonus for Crew members while playing Fortnite. This should make progressing through seasonal rewards a little easier for subscribers.

Overall, the changes shift Fortnite Crew away from exclusive monthly cosmetics and toward a loyalty-based rewards system. Whether the increased V-Bucks and XP bonus make up for the loss of monthly outfits will likely depend on how much individual players value collecting exclusive skins.
