As November begins, Xbox players have a few upcoming service closures and store removals to keep in mind. Three games are set to lose online functionality or certain features before the end of December 2026, with some notable changes arriving as early as this week.
The biggest change concerns Call of Duty: Warzone, which is preparing to end support for its Xbox One and PlayStation 4 versions. Meanwhile, NBA 2K25 is approaching the end of its online services, and Synduality: Echo of Ada is beginning its gradual shutdown.
Here is a breakdown of the confirmed dates and affected features:
- Call of Duty: Warzone – November 6, 2026: The Xbox One and PlayStation 4 versions will go offline when Season 1 of Modern Warfare 4 begins.
- Synduality: Echo of Ada – December 18, 2026: In-game purchases will be disabled. The full server shutdown is currently planned for May 2027.
- NBA 2K25 – December 31, 2026: The game's online servers will shut down at the end of the year.
Players who still enjoy these titles should keep the dates in mind, particularly when it comes to online progression and features that depend on server connectivity.
Another game worth keeping on the radar is New World: Aeternum. Amazon's online RPG is scheduled to shut down its servers at the end of January 2027.
Although the closure is still a few months away, players who have been exploring its world should be aware that its online services have a limited lifespan.
There are also a couple of upcoming store removals to consider. Street Outlaws and Street Outlaws 2 are both scheduled to disappear from the Xbox Store at the end of December 2026.
Anyone interested in owning either game should consider purchasing it before the deadline. Once delisted, new purchases will no longer be possible, although players who already own the games should retain the ability to re-download them in the future.
While November and December currently have a relatively short list of major changes, server shutdowns and delistings can sometimes be announced with little warning.
For now, Xbox players have a handful of dates to remember rather than a major wave of closures. However, keeping track of these announcements can help avoid missing the opportunity to purchase games or enjoy their online features before they disappear.
