Xbox has listed its “25 Years of Xbox Bundle” on the Microsoft Store for $569.99, revealing the full lineup of 25 games included in the anniversary collection. The bundle is intended primarily as a free bonus for buyers of eligible Windows 11 PCs in the United States, but it can also be purchased directly.
The offer runs from November 2 through December 31, 2026, while supplies last. Eligible customers include those who buy and activate a qualifying new Windows Home PC from a participating retailer or manufacturer, with certain handhelds also included. Most Windows Pro devices do not qualify, except for select NVIDIA RTX Spark systems.
The collection includes a mix of Xbox classics and newer releases, such as Gears of War: Reloaded, DOOM + DOOM 2, Halo: The Master Chief Collection, Forza Horizon 5, Sea of Thieves, Hi-Fi Rush, Psychonauts 2, and Ori and the Will of the Wisps.
Around half of the games support Xbox Play Anywhere, meaning buyers can access both the PC and Xbox One or Xbox Series X|S versions. All 25 titles can be played on PC.
For most players, probably not. At roughly $23 per game, the bundle is not unreasonable in theory, but many of the included titles are older and regularly discounted—or already available through Xbox Game Pass.
The bundle’s real purpose appears to be adding value to new Windows PC purchases rather than serving as a standalone retail product. For players who already own several of the games, the appeal drops even further.
The collection celebrates 25 years of Xbox, but fans have questioned why Microsoft did not include more landmark titles or create a more curated anniversary experience. Some have compared it unfavorably to Rare Replay, which packaged dozens of classic games into a single, affordable collection.
For eligible PC buyers, though, it is a generous freebie. For everyone else, the $569.99 price tag makes it one of the more surprising Xbox bundles in recent memory.
