In Beast of Reincarnation, it starts with a short black-and-white cinematic scene, showcasing the loss of humanity and their souls. Narrated by Emma,
who is a blight with a blight companion. Both have no choice but to enter into the world of blight, a plant disease that has corrupted everything that lives in the Nushi, including wild animals. It even makes the trees move as if its a movie.

It reminded me of The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian when Aslan awakens the forest. Koo has never left Emma’s sight and uses her barks to communicate with Emma. You will get notified if there are items to be looted, cases to be opened, and to expose enemies’ sight.  They both fight and consume the enemies’ nushi,
making them stronger. 

Every chapter unlocks a new discovery, adding a touch of emotions that connects you to the game, peeling out layers of blockage, and bringing back memories.  that empowers the deadly duo whether through information given by the robots.

Most of the robots are considered enemies but I guess there are some who are good. Somehow, they look like they are dead, but it is just a hibernation, showing how long they have been waiting to be
approached by Emma.

The deeper Emma wanders in Japan,
the harder it becomes to ignore how repetitive the journey is. As I move on
to the chapter, I still notice the same environment scenes as if I were still in tutorials.  Did Game Freak underdeliver on their presentation in graphics or was it intentional? Tough question to answer.

Still, the artistic layout matches the picture Game Freak is trying to paint, laying out a blueprint for gamers. Looking at the visual style, players can choose a performance or
a cinematic style. Which one would you pick? 

For mechanics, my expectation was not high, since the game comes from a Pokémon niche background, they focus on Perry or Dodging, a skill that must be mastered or face death. Doing so adds a sense of satisfaction, powers up Emma’s sword, and charges up Koo’s abilities.
